I'm an Indian communication designer, educator, and researcher living in Edinburgh, Scotland where I am based at the Edinburgh College of Art. Previously, I lived in Colombo, Sri Lanka where I worked as full time design faculty at the Academy of Design, Northumbria University Newcastle. I studied visual communication design and practiced design in Bangalore, India and Edinburgh, Scotland before moving to Sri Lanka in January 2014.

My work experiments with using visual communication design as a tool to initiate social and cultural dialogue; my MA thesis, for example, explored the significance of multilingualism in a globalising world and the need to preserve vernacular culture. I enjoy combining analogue techniques with digital media and love colour, pattern, and whimsy. In my spare time, I plan elaborate travel itineraries and attempt to polish my culinary skills.
Send me an email, I'd love to hear from you.
